We have a shared goal with Rocket Companies to help everyone home. And at the Rocket Community Fund, we do that by investing in programs and partnerships to ensure that every American has access to safe and stable housing.
In service of that mission, we began expanding our flagship programs into other cities, and in 2022 we joined the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership to announce a $500,000 commitment* supporting the Legacy Resident Retention Program (LRRP), which helps longtime homeowners living in the Atlanta BeltLine area stay in their homes by covering the costs of increases in property taxes through the 2030 tax year.
“Our goal is to ensure homeowners are able to accumulate generational wealth, even in the face of rising property tax costs,” said Rob Lockett, National Team Leader of Housing Stability at the Rocket Community Fund. “The LRRP is an essential program for longtime homeowners in need of relief due to property tax increases and is integral to our displacement prevention strategy in Atlanta.”
